An individual is considered to be a leader when he/she possesses intellectual ability and a vision towards future, enlightening followerson the right path and direction by guiding them, visualizing the pros and cons of the circumstances they face upon and encouraging them to be the best in right ideologies. It would also be great if he is innovative along with some flexibility and conviction. In short, leadership could be defined as an exemplary character with a trustworthy authority thereby addingthe blend of some qualities i.e. delegacy, honesty, ability to work and lead in any environment, capitalize things in an organization with confidence, tolerance and commitment to excellence.

The man behind the success of growth of Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) is Mr. Francisco D'Souza, the 43-year old, founder and currently the CEO, who experienced childhood in three landmasses, yet spent a large portion of his working life in the US, his organization's greatest business sector where he immensely dedicated his time in succession of this company. The ideology and vision of the founder lies within the culture of the organization that is built with this 'multicultural' flavour. According to Forbes (2012), "What I learned growing up in a microcosm, is very much alive in the DNA at Cognizant. Far more than a global mindset, what I learned was how to change quickly and adapt rapidly. I think this, perhaps more than anything else, is a key to success in the business world today," says D'Souza.
