Guidelines for Poster Presentation
1. Posters will be displayed only on the date allotted for the poster. The author(s) should ensure that the poster is displayed by 9:00AM and removed by 7:00PM on the allotted date.
2. Each poster should have the dimensions: 36 inch width x 48 inch height (A0 size) (portrait orientation only).
3. Posters can be mounted with cello tapes, double sided tapes etc., which will be provided by the conference organizers.
4. A short abstract (35-50 words) with lettering readable from ~6 feet (1.8 m) should be prominently displayed near the top of the poster, beneath the title.
5. The body of the poster paper should consist of several small sections, arranged to guide the viewer through an introduction, results, and finally conclusions and references. The poster must be self-guiding because many conference attendees will read your poster at times other than the normal allotted time.
6. Lettering size is extremely important. Lettering must be clearly readable from a distance of 3 m, as clusters of people will surround the poster boards during the session.
7. Typewritten or hand written pages are unacceptable.
8. SIMPLICITY IS THE KEY! Limit posters to significant data, details, graphs, and key experimental results that help to explain the most important points of your work. Micrographs should be large enough to be easily viewed and address key points.
