INTRODUCTION
Organizations are made up of people and function through people. Without people organizations cannot exists. The resources of men, money, machinery and materials are collected, coordinated and utilized through people. These resources by themselves cannot fulfill the objectives of an organization. They need to be united into a team. It is through the combine efforts of people that material and monetary resources are effectively utilized for the attainment of common objectives. Without united human efforts no organization can achieve its goals. All the activities of an organization are initiated and completed by the persons who make up the organization. Therefore, People are the most significant resource of any organization. This resource is called human resource and it is most important factor of the production.
Human resource is considered to be the most valuable asset in any organization. It is the sum-total of inherent abilities, acquired knowledge and skills represented by the talents and attitudes of the employees.
Human Resource Management is a function, which is mainly concerned with their relationship within the organization. It is the resource, which plans, allowances and provides for all other resources in organizations and in our day-to-day life. Most of the management’s have sidelined the HRM function due to lack of immense knowledge about the importance involved in the successful handling of that function.
DEFNITION:
William R. Tracey, defines Human Resources as “The people that staff and operate an organization” as contrasted with the financial and material resources of an organization. Human Resources is also the organizational function that deals with the people”… Long a term used sarcastically by individuals in the line organization, because it relegates resources will be replaced by more customer-friendly terms in the future.
According to Flippo, human resource management is the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the procurement, development, compensation, integration maintenance and reproduction of human resources to the end those individual, organizational and societal objectives are accomplished.
NEED FOR THE STUDY
Job satisfaction is one of the most important areas of study as it influences the behaviour of human being in the organization and intern the behaviour affects the productivity of human resources. Job satisfactions study is useful for several decisions relating to improve the work culture and environment of the organization. It is useful for organizational as well as individual development.

CONSTRUCTION SECTOR:
In India, construction is the second largest economic activity after agriculture. Investment in construction accounts for nearly 11 per cent of India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and nearly 50 per cent of its Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF). Fund injection into the sector could go up to US$ 124.65 billion by FY2010. Construction accounts for nearly 65 per cent of the total investment in infrastructure and is expected to be the biggest beneficiary of the surge in infrastructure investment over the next five years.
CONCLUSION
Hence I conclude that Job Satisfaction is the best concept to reduce monitory and dissatisfaction among the employees. By providing proper job induction to the employees, and help to reduce errors. Recognizing the employee performance and his/her work achievement will make them satisfied in their job.
Before implement any process or changes in the organization they need to inform the employees, conduct discussion, arrange meetings and then implement it. In the same way proper scale of satisfaction or motivation has to maintain to identify each and every employees perception towards work and organizational environment.. Thus job satisfaction plays very important role in one's work life as well as in their personal life to gain success.
