Problem in existing machine: dressing of grinding & regulating wheel is done by manually. It causes serrations on surface of th ewheel. It takes more time and more rejection of job. Alternative: manual operation is replaced by hydraulic system. Construction & Working:

Construction & Working:
The input component of the system is vane pump and output component is hydraulic cylinder. Power source is electric motor. The liquid pumped by vane pump through a closed system of hoses which is called as hydraulic circuit. The liquid under pressure is forced into the hydraulic cylinder. The to and fro motion of the piston is obtained by pressurized liquid. For forward stroke of the piston is the pumped on the head end and for return stroke the liquid is pumped on the rod end so the actuation of dresser is done. The direction of flow of liquid is control by the use of direction control valve. The relief valve is used in the circuit to reduce damage during high pressure.
