HANDICAP VEHICLE
ABSTRACT:
The aim of the project is to implement a handicap vehicle that can be controlled easily just by moving the tongue.
This project is designed with micro controller, reed switch, RF transmitter – receiver, driver circuit, and relays along with motor and vehicle model.
A technique is implemented using reed switch and RF technique. Here, 4 reed switches are used. Each one is fixed in upper, lower, right and left side of mouth. The tongue is fitted with a magnet. Whenever the tongue is moved towards any of the reed switch, the reed switch senses the movement of tongue and sends information to the receiver kit via RF technology. The RF transmitter and receiver pair works at the frequency of 433.92MHz.
At the vehicle controlling kit, we have the RF receiver module. This then receives the signal from the RF transmitter and sends it to microcontroller. This controller gets information from

Based on the information from this system, microcontroller controls the handicap vehicle with the help of relay driver circuit.
In addition to the vehicle control, we can also monitor the health conditions of the person using the vehicle. To monitor their body temperature, a temperature sensor is used. There may be a chance that they may get fall down, while moving from a place to place. This is monitored with the help of tilt sensor. Pulse sensor is also used which continuously monitors the heart rate. The
output from these sensors are then given to microcontroller for further processing. If the microcontroller finds any abnormality in the health condition of the handicap, it blows the alarm.
