Description:
Software has to be developed for automating the manual Institute Management system. The system should be distributed in nature. It should be designed to provide functionalities as explained below:-
Student Registration: In this module, details of each and every student are entered and updated as and when required. Student registration form should have columns for student name, roll number, email id, phone number, branch etc.
Faculty Management: There should be a system that maintains all the records related to the faculty members like name, id, address, phone number, department etc.
Account Management: In this module, the information related to the fee is maintained. It contains the information like total amount, amount paid, amount left etc. For security point of view, the login window should contain password so that no unauthorized person can access the records.
Library: There should be a system which gives complete details of all the books in library, number of books issued, number of books returned etc. there should not be any redundancy of data.
Login: Login module is used to check whether the user is an authorized person to use the system or not. For access the system, the user should give the correct user name and password. The different types of users are:-
Admin
Student
Faculty
Maintenance: There should be a system that maintains all the records of maintenance of infrastructure, grounds, roads etc.
Employee: This module contains the number of non-teaching employees which includes security guards, clerk, peons etc.
Salary: This module contains salary of faculty members and non-teaching employees. Salary is given on the basis of number of hours worked and their attendance.
