Description:
The system is used for recording Aplus make APR series reprogrammable serial sound
chips through WINDOWS based software running at IBMPC. The software is used for selection of
sound file in wave formt and direct recording into the chip sequentially. Two address modes are
available, ‘auto address’ and ‘fixed adderss’. In auto address mode, each sound segment is recorded
sequentially fromaddress 0. In fixed address mode, sound segments are recorded at calculated fixed
addresses starting from address 0. The kit is controlled through high speed serial port for efficient
operation. The recorded sound can be verified by giving play command from PC fromany specified
address.Also the soundfile can be checked at PCend by playingit. Inboth cases, sound is beingplayed
fromdifferent channels of speaker. The recording gain can be adjusted by a variable resistor to achieve
desiredrecording.
