INTRODUCTION:
The line following robot is a prototype of a smart vehicle that can differs fromthe colors beneath
it and take the appropriate decision during its journey accordingto its position. It also have the
ability to sense obstacles if found in a certain rangeand stops completely before it to allow the
robot to engage other actions.To make use of the ability of the robot's capability of differing
colors beneath it theline following robot can be implemented, that robot can keep tracking a
black line ona white background which in real life situations represents the lane and its
whitemarks.
WORKING :
This simple robot is designed to be able to follow a black line on the ground without getting off
the line too much. The robot has two sensors installed underneath the front part of the body,
and two DC motors drive wheels moving forward. A circuit inside takes an input signal from two
sensors and controls the speed of wheels’ rotation. The control is done in such a way that when a
sensor senses a black line, the motor slows down or even stops. Then the difference of rotation
speed makes it possible to make turns. For instance, in the figure on the right, if the sensor s
omehow senses a black line, the wheel on that side slows down and the robot will make a right
turn.
MERITS OF THE LINE FOLLOWER ROBOT:
1. No man power is used.
2. Easy to implement.
3. Car can be used as guider to guide visitors from one part of industry to other.
4.Can be used to transport things from place to place
LIMITATIONS:
1. In present condition this car works only as per the lines.
2. In real practice car could not be run on batteries cause at some conditions the current requirement of the circuits rises.

2. Automation.
