Design competence
Our design teams use latest software packages (iTowers Designer mw,
iTowers Designer tl, STADD Pro., bocad-3D etc.) to design and optimize
Towers that are an optimal solution to our customers’ requirements. On
requirement by customers, validation of designs and testing can be done
by third party agencies such as SERC Chennai, and CPRI Bengaluru.
Infrastructure
Our main unit is located at Hyderabad which got accreditation with
ISO 90001:2000, with matured design and development facilities. It is
equipped with sophisticated laboratories for chemical and mechanical
testing of the materials. The production is monitored and handled
by technically experienced staff. The production unit is spread over
145,686 Sq. meters with production capacity of 60,000 MT per annum
and galvanization capacity of 78,000 MT per annum.
Supply track record
Aster has successfully executed various Transmission Line Towers and
Substation structures of state utilities as well as PGCIL. Repeat orders
and confidence conveyed by long standing customers holds testimony
to Aster service standards. Aster T&D is rapidly expanding its customer
base across the country and overseas.
Transmission Line Construction (TLC)
Aster is one of the leading companies in the execution of Turnkey/ partial
turnkey projects of Transmission Lines in India. As an ECP contractor, the
scope of work involves design, testing, fabrication, galvanizing of towers
on one hand and construction activities of survey, civil works, erection
and stringing, testing and commissioning of transmission lines. 400 kV,
220 kV, 132 kV and 66 kV transmission line construction activities in
APTRANSCO, KPTCL, MPPTCL, GETCO, MAHATRANSCO and various
SEB’s stand testimony to our competence.
Substation Extra High Voltage (SSEHV)
Aster embarks on design to commissioning of Substations ranging
from 33 kV to 220 kV. The scope involves soil investigation, structural
foundations and erections of equipment, cable duct runs, control rooms
& yard fencing. Finally, installation and testing of transformers, breakers,
isolators, CT/PT, lighting arrestors, control and relay panels, battery bank,
yard lights and air conditioning of control room.
