Abstracts: Recently in IC engine performance, efficiency and emission depends mainly on distribution of air-fuel mixture inside the combustion chamber. If the distribution of air-fuel mixture inside the combustion chamber is not properly than incomplete combustion of air-fuel take place. So more amount of smoke produced. Ultimately efficiency should be less. For the better mixing of air-fuel mixture 2-D axisymmetric CFD analysis conducted to determine the effect of variations in parameter like injector geometry, injector swirl angle, mixing characteristics of air-fuel mixture. Here the mixing characteristic of air-fuel mixture analyze by varying the velocity of fuel at injector inside the toroidal type combustion chamber. Also taking the results for air fuel mixing for 30o, 35o, 40o, 45o, 50o, 55o, 60o, 65o injector angles. Main purpose of this project is to study of air-fuel mixing inside the combustion chamber.
