This company is registered under the Gujarat Cooperative Societies Act 1961, on 20th November 1995 and its Registration Number is S - 27. The company is the partnership firm
This factory is situated at nana nogama via-tadkeswar taluko-mangrol dist.- surat. The total Capital Investment of the factory is Rs. 23 Crores and the Annual Turn-over is Rs. 72 Crores. The area has rich black cotton soil and cotton was the most established stable crop of the area, gradually cotton disappeared and Sugarcane crop come into existence.
The Central Government has approved a license No. CIL - 465 in 1994 for establishment of a Sugar Plant. Initially the plant and machinery had been supplied by the Indian Sugar & General Engineering Corporation, Yamunagar (Haryana). The project was carried out in 1995-96 with a crushing figure of 95,397 tones cane and a recovery of 9.46%.
FECTOR AFFECTING THE HRD OF THE KISHAN SUGAR FECTORY
EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT:-
1) Political & Legal:
The political environment covers the impact of political institutions on the HRM department. In sugar industry less affects the labor laws because of the workers hire on the contract basis. Wages pay to workers on contact base. Kishan sugar factory create contract every year to different union leaders to supply worker or hire worker in company. Under govt. rules & regulation company provides cottage facility to worker.
2) Social factor:
Factors such a demographics, life style & social values that influence HR function.
Demographics : As far as the India is concern the large population so as per the sugar factory is concern it receive the skill labor on the contract base system in seasonal so the company HR person acquire labor from maharastra as well as Karnataka & other city also. Approximate 700 to 800 labors acquire on contract base in seasonal time. It has also local permanent employee around 40 for specific skill in which are master to making sugar or we can say handle the whole process of sugar factory so the HR plays important role.
Life styles: As par as the Kishan Sugar Factory or HR also affected by the life style s of permanent employees to satisfy the that employee is more important to know there employees life style for pacing the employee that time also affected the life style of that employee.
Social values: HR manager also considering the social values which the employees have at work. Like the different kind of employee have different values also match with the the company as well.
