To install the webcam library, follow the steps given below:
1. Extract all of the files from the compressed zip archive to your LabVIEW user.lib
folder
3. Run LabVIEW.
4. Open the user submenu of the function palette for the webcam library functions.
Examples
Examples that provide simple uses of the webcam library are included in the zip file.
Once the library has been installed, the examples can be accessed through the user menu
on the function palette in LabVIEW. The examples demonstrate the following:
• Single shot image capture and display
• Continuous image capture and display
• Single shot image capture, processing, and display
• Continuous image capture, processing, and display
Keep in mind that the National Instruments Vision for G toolkit is required to run
examples that perform image processing.

higher. When opened with a newer version of LabVIEW, they will be recompiled to
match that version.
