leading business house initiated the journey of enabling its various popular workflow applications for Smart phones. Employee expense claim workflow became an early candidate for enablement as it could eliminate handling of supporting expense bills and instead use the camera of Smartphone to capture the bill.
MeX will allow employees to enter the expense details in terms of date, description, and amount and attach a picture of bill either from the library or by capturing a photo from the camera. Upon submitting the claim, the entire data along with attached photos is uploaded to the server and queued for the approval automatically. Employee can also view the status of all pending claims. Upon approval, push notification is sent to the employee.
