Abstracts: In the present work model of leaf spring is modeled by using creo parametric 1.0 and stress analysis and fatigue analysis is carried out by using ANSYS 14.0 software, conventional structural steel, composite fiber reinforced plastic(CFRP) and titanium alloy is chosen as material for comparative study of semi elliptical leaf spring and it is concluded that for the given specifications of the leaf spring at same loading condition, maximum stress induces in descending order. Comparison is shown in graph and table. Also from fatigue analysis it is concluded that fatigue life of titanium alloy is at least 100 times more than structural steel. Comparison of fatigue life and factor of safety at different load is shown in table and graph.
