Abstracts: Flange Coupling is very important member in the most of mechanical structure and is used for connecting two distinct member either circular or having any other geometry. Flange coupling joints these to member with providing high compressive as well as tensile strength according to function of machine. A Hydraulic loading platform consisting of flange coupling to joint piston-shaft and cylinder-shaft. This piston- cylinder assembly provides hydraulic force to the platform by means of hydraulic fluid such as Oil. This Oil retains in a fluid-reservoir and it will be given very high compressive force by means of hydraulic pump when the machine is in working condition. During a working process, if the joints between piston and cylinder with flange are not fluid tight, Oil will be passing out through the joints. So reduction of oil in hydraulic equipment reduces efficiency of machine and also lost of the oil in reservoir. Failure of the flange joint is occurred due to weak connection of nut and bolt through flange or should be welding defects while manufacturing of flange or may be sealing problem in flange for the reason behind failure of joints. After knowing particular failure defect occurred in this case, new flange having optimum parameters will be modelled in modelling software and analysis of new flange will be conducted in analysis software.
