Nanotechnology
Nanotechnology is engineering at the moleculer(groups of atom) level.It is the
Collective term for a range of technologies,techniques and processes that involve the manipulation of matter at the smallest scale i.e 1nm=0.000000001 m
One Nanometer is a billionth of a meter, or 10-9 of a meter.
Why Nanotechniques?
At the atomic level, molecules can behave differently than they do at our level
Manipulation at the atomic level results in more efficient and desirable materials.
A battery is full of chemicals that make electricity.
The chemicals are powders or gels. By forming the chemicals into nano-particles,
the batteries work much better.
When particles are super-small, number of atoms increased that are exposed to
chemical reaction resulting faster reaction.
Battery can store more energy, and it can charge a lot faster.
