Introduction
Within the assessment criteria this assignment will review a quantitative research method of the subject, which is: ‘New Dimensions in the Quantitative Classification of Mental Illness’.
With documentation on populations suffering with comorbidities secondary to a mental illness the use of research in order to provide an improving outcome though clinician reflection and ensuring a clinical understanding is evident, with past research identifying: internalising, externalising, and thought disorder as three of the dimensions encompassing psychopathology. This study sets out to understand more about where these disorders fit in (Kotov et al., 2011).(pretty sure none of this makes sense – because the article makes no fucking sense to me either)

Discussion of article
Conclusion of article
Thought this findings and data collection of this research, it was able to come to a result that many mental illnesses fitting into the personality disorder factors could be places within Axis I with clinical disorders which where related. In addition it was found that the unipolar depression could have been better sectioned into the anxiety disorder group rather then with the bipolar disorder group
