As we all know change is something that never changes. We have to undergo change throughout our life, and we have been facing it ever since we have been born. We have to adapt to changes as and when it arises. Also a common tendency of human beings is to resist change. This resistance normally occurs when a person doesn’t want to move out of his/her comfort zone. People always want to be in a constant state of inertia.
Who Moved My Cheese? Is An Amazing book that teaches us a Way to Deal with Change in Your Work and in Your Life, it is a motivational book by Spencer Johnson written in the style of a parable or fable. Who Moved My Cheese reveals truths about change. It is an amusing story which revolves around four characters that live in a maze and look for cheese to make themselves happy. Two of them are mice’s named Sniff and Scurry and the other two are two little people Hem and Haw.
Talking about my experiences on change, I had to undergo drastic changes when I first joined a hostel in my eight standard. Till seventh I was a day scholar, and had full care and affection from my parents, initially when my parents asked me to join the hostel I didn’t find much difficulty in it. But when days passed by I couldn’t adjust with it, I became homesick and started becoming too emotional had never experienced a challenge like this in my life before. But my seniors in school and parents advised me to stay cool and adjust with the situation. Those where the toughest times of my life, as a 13year old I had to undergo lots of changes. But as days passed on I started enjoying my hostel life with my friends and those days became the sweetest part of my life.
Change is always occurring. You can never move forward in life without adapting to change. The trick is to become aware of change as it happens and channel it in a way that serves your purpose. As you awaken to this fact of life, you can consciously begin moving with the unique flow of your life, you can continue trying to make your own waves, in the same old fashion, and continue getting the same old results. The only constant in Life is Change. All you are is Change. And you never know how far a change will go.
