ORGANIZING THE FAREWELL PARTY
INTRODUCTION:
The assignment is about how I managed to organize “FAREWELL PARTY” in my college. As it was the only one event for all friends and we enjoyed a lot in this event.
PLANNING THE EVENT:
• GETTING THE PERMISSION:
The prior step to organise a “farewell party” starts by taking permission from the college principle. The whole agenda of the programme would be versed to the authorities and permission would be sleeked with due support from them, informing about the time and the life duration of the event fest.
• DATE AND TIME:
A specific date would be selected to organise the party keeping in mind the flexibility for the availability of the people and students .The fest would commence in evening 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
• FAREWELL PARTY BUDGET:
Budget for the event would be estimated.
We would be sleeked for and the costs of edibles tents lights and other facilitation would be calculated.
On this event we receive some amount from college and remaining we arrange the amount.
• GATHERING VOLUNTEERS:
Organising an event can’t be handled with a single hand. To divide the tasks volunteers. It would be sleeked provided they are worth enough for the task.
• INVITATION TO THE GUESTS:
Along with the programme coordinator some other inspiring personalities should be called upon as chief guest, Tele film starts, Mr .Samir Yadav (Police commissioner), Mr. Srihari nath (public prosecutor).
ORGANISING THE EVENT
• DIFFERENT PROGRAM AND COORDINATION:
Different program would be held like:
1. Opening ceremony.
2. Dance competition
3. Group Chair competition
4. Fancy dress competition
5. Couple Fancy dress competition
6. Speeches by seniors
7. Speeches by Faculty and Principle
• ADEQUATE AND PROPER ARRANGEMENT OF FOOD AND EDIBLES
We arrange food in general for all and bakery items would be allotted. Attention would be paid to the availability of snakes to participants and guests.
• PREPARING STAGE AND TENTS:
A main stage would be installed for programme and tents for supports crew.
LEADING
• MANAGENING MEN AND MATERIAL:
Directing coordinators and volunteers. Team of volunteers would be allotted and proper use of resources would be maintained. The rush of the students would be controlled and managed. The equipments for stage lights, tents and supports crew would be managed.
CONTROLLING
• MAINTAINING THE SCHEDULS :
The predefined schedule should be maintained. The duration of each party should be limited. The time allocated to each event should be managed properly.
WRAPPING UP
All’s well which ends well. The materials and the system used should be returned back safely. The bills of the light, stages and crews should be graphed and paid. The in turn sources received in term of rent of tents should be graphed. Prepare a thumbing note to the student and faculty.
