While considering the health sector, the basic requirement of medicines and keeping the stock position of vital medicines has a crucial role. In order to provide essential drugs in sufficient amount to all the health centers in the state, it is necessary to accomplish the tasks like-requirement generation, track consumption pattern for forecasting, budget allocation etc. NRHM, Haryana assigned the task of computerization of drug management to NIC, Haryana and partial cost of the project is transferred to NICSI. Remaining cost of the project will be released at the start of implementation at pilot site.
