INTRODUCTION::::
We are making use of page replacement algorithms to find the page-faults of algorithms….there are different algorithms for finding-out the page faults..and thus go for further evaluation process.we introduce a new software for finding out the page faults without the help of any man power making it simpler using computer hardware………
SYNOPSIS::::
Our project named “PAGE-REPLACEMENT” finds out every page fault occurred within no time,without any man-power efficiently…..It actually shows the details about number of page faults occurred with number of frames used.
AIM::::
The aim of our project is to reduce man-power and to effectively utilize software for carrying out calculations.
MODULES::::
Fifo:: it is the most simplest among all the page-replacement algorithms we experienced…by using this algorithm,we try to replace the older page with New pages…& the user must have a knowledge about the future string….
Optimal:: in this method the page that has been not used for a longest time will be replaced with the new pages….
Least recently used:: this algorithm deals with the least recently used pages,ie; the pages that are used at the recent time would be replaced with new pages & thus finding out the page-faults….
