Abstracts: The primary task of the cooling tower is to reject heat to the atmosphere. They represent a relatively inexpensive and dependable means of removing low grade heat from cooling water. Out of the various cooling tower parameters, we have chosen to do a comparative study of driving force, Approach and Range of ‘Wet Type’ forced draft cooling towers. Towers are fabricated of using mild steel. The ‘Wet Type’ consists of PVC corrugated packing sheets and nozzle. To using of pipe fitting of assemble of cooling tower. A comparative study of performance parameters have been carried out for the towers at different flow rates and inlet water temperature. The test result shows that, at lower range of inlet water temperature the cooling range of the wet type is more than the dry type. High efficient of less flow rate of cooling tower than high flow rate.
