ABSTRACT
The aim of the project is to provide a facility by which we can control all the loads connected to the power grid through PC and detecting the fault in any load.
The purpose of the project is to provide a flexible system by which we can control the power grid through PC remotely and cutoff the loads on detection of the fault.
INTRODUCTION
The main aim of the is to provide a facility by which we can control all the loads connected to the power grid from your PC or from your laptop. In this system the RS232 communication link is made possible PC and the control board for communication.
In this project we are also detecting the fault. We considering fault due to over voltage. It any load show over voltage from the specific value PC cutoff the supply of that load.
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The main aim of the present project is to provide a facility by which we can control all the loads connected to the power grid from your PC or from your laptop at a distance of 10meters around the control board. In this system the RS232 communication link is made possible PC and the control board for communication. The Control unit receives the commands from the PC through the serial communication link. Here the command denotes the on or off conditions of the home appliances. Each and every device connected to the power grid has its own separate command for the on and off conditions.
