Effective working of MAJU university cafeteria

Introduction:
Background:
MAJU University is situated at Sehala near KAK PULL Islamabad. It’s fully equipped with the modern facilities providing students with the quality education and a good environment.
Along with other facilities the provision of fresh food for the students 24/7 is also available here.
The availability of healthy food in cafeteria for the students is the responsibility of the institute. The primary issue of importance is the availability of fresh food at the required time. It has been observed that some cafeterias are unable to provide good food inside the institutes.
Accommodation capacity:
There are 10 tables and per table has capacity to accommodate 5 students. Along with the tables outside the total capacity for the individuals are almost 70. As the strength of the university is above 2000,so there is a need to enlarge the building of the cafeteria.
Food items available:
Different kinds of food items are available. The cafeteria provides breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beef, vegetables and rice is available. Burgers and pizza is also available. Cold drinks of different brands along with juices are provided. The quality of food is sometimes questionable.
Availability of service:
The cafeteria of the university is at its service 24/7. The waiters are always present during the day and night for service of the students. The students can have their breakfast, lunch and dinner in the cafeteria although if they are late.
Objectives :
The utmost objective of this report is to highlight the issues regarding the university cafeteria and the assurance of healthy food. It’s the right of the students to have the fresh food to keep their body and mind strong.
Being one of the responsible students of this university I felt it as my responsibility to raise this basic issue to the higher authorities.
A lots of students were complaining about this issue know and then. I personally visited some faculty members and came up with the same notion as of the student about the cafeteria. The strength of the university is increasing every year. There are more and more students each year but there is neither modification in the building of the cafeteria nor any new construction is going on in this regard.
Apart from that as we know a good health can inhabit a good mind so a good health and mind can be nourished by good food. So it’s the responsibility of the cafeteria owners and the university authorities to provide the students with the right food. Sometimes the services of the waiters are not available which should be corrected.
This report is intended to cover and highlight all these above stated issues.
Conclusion:
After the information and data obtained by the questionnaires it was found the students are having the health issues while consumption of the food from the university cafeteria. The data results obtained depicted that the quality of food was not of a healthy sort. Apart from that it was also observed that there are lots of other issues related to the cafeteria. The first and the foremost thing is the construction of a new cafeteria building for the increasing number of students. There is a need to discuss the serviced provided by the cafeteria to the students. A sufficient number of cafeterias personal are required to the students.
The cafeteria owner should also fulfill the requirements regarding any emergency in case of fire or other mishap.
The higher authorities of the university should form a committee which should be responsible for all the issues regarding the cafeteria.
