INTRODUCTION
Baby food is any food, other than breast milk or infant formula, that is made specifically for infants, roughly between the ages of six months to two years. The food comes in multiple varieties and tastes, can be produced by many manufacturers, or may be table food that the rest of the family is eating mashed up . Because infants lack teeth, many different baby foods are designed for ease of eating, they are either a soft liquid paste or an easily chewed food.
Objectives
1.PRIMARY OBJECTIVE -
• To find out the most preferred baby food brand
in reference to the Bhubaneswar market.
2. SECONDARY OBJECTIVES -
•To find out the available baby food brands in the
Bhubaneswar market.
•To find out the class of people usually preferring
baby food.
Research methodology
• Primary method of data collection was adopted for
collecting data.
• Primary data was collected from the respondents
through the help of questionnaire.
• The locations covered were Palashpalli, Unit-6, Jaidev
bihar, B.J.B nagar, Baragarh breed colony and
Sailesh bihar.
• The total sample size taken was 100.
• Random sampling technique was used for collecting
data.
conclusion
Studies show that babies who are fed nutritious, healthy diets grow in to stronger kids and better adjusted eaters than those who are fed poor diets. It is essential that the baby should be fed a healthy and nutritious food in order to maximise babies growth and development process.It provides protein, calcium and iron which are very necessary for their development. Baby food in a variety of flavours and colours can also help in encouraging the baby to get used to lots of flavours.
