Sir myself Pradeep Rathod.student of Dayananda Sagar College Bangalore. I'm doing project on perisltic pump so I need design and calculations of perisltic pump. Can you able to send Email vishwapoch[at]gmail.com
Peristaltic pump is a pressure blower type used for pumping various liquids. The fluid is contained within the flexible tube provided with an internal circular pump casing (though linear Peristaltic Pumps have been made). A rotor with a number of "rollers", "shoes", "wiper blades", or "share" attached to the outside of the rotor circumference compresses the flexible tube. When the rotor is rotated, part of tube under compression clamped closed (or "occludes") thus forcing the fluid to be pumped to move through a pipe. In addition, as the tube opens its natural state after the passing of the cam ("restitution" or "sustainability") fluid flow is induced by Wednesday to the pump. This process is called peristalsis and used in many biological systems, such as the gastrointestinal tract. Typically, there will be two or more rollers or janitors, closing the pipe gripper in between body fluids. Body fluid is then transported, when environmental pressure Wednesday, to the outlet of the pump. Peristaltic Pumps can operate continuously or they can be indexed by using partial speed to deliver smaller quantities of liquid.
