Abstract
This Project is aimed to investigate the development and usage of modern information technologies in tax management, and modernization of tax administrations. Specifically, the project tries to investigate
e-declaration and e-tax payment systems. E-declaration (or online tax filing, e-tax return filing, e-filing) can be defined as the tax-return filing system by aid of computer and internet. E-tax payment system (or online tax payment system) is an information system by which tax-payers would pay electronically tax-due.
There are three tax payment methods. One of them is named traditional tax collection method, in which the tax-payers pay tax-due at the tax administration. The other two tax payment methods are to use interactive bank accounts in internet or to use bank ATM in front of the bank building. These two last methods differ from the traditional method and form online tax payment system. Government has authorized banks or special financial institutions to collect electronic taxes
Two methods of data collection were employed in this study. Initially, textual analysis was applied in order to examine reports, government policy documents, media releases, journal articles, and other written material. Then, in-depth interviews with the directors of tax administrations and surveys with Certified Public Accountants (CPA) were carried out.
It demonstrates the projects that the government has carried out to use the ICT technologies in tax management and to modernize the tax management. Then, the project explains the government's plans and goals relating to e-taxation, and the operation of e-declaration system. Finally, the paper makes an empirical assessment of adoption of e-tax filing system with Technology Acceptance (TAM) Model.
Objective:
With the new system the following activities get more momentum.
1. The actual process of the organization can be modularized into three different independent views
Administrator view
Interviewer view
Customer view
2. The Admin at any time can view the required information whether it is Customer Profile or customer’s documents at the click of a mouse and instance of a second.
3. If planned in an organized manner the customers can be provided an online terminal where they can access the information at their own hands with out the basic intervention manually.
4. The customer’s reminders can be generated at lightening speed just by query for the specific customers.
5. The information while it is collected can referentially be segregated into their respective databases from single window, saving the time of multiple data entries.
6. The customer’s tax payment status can be viewed in a systematized manner by the Admin.
7. Above all the overall system can at any time provide consistent and reliable information authenticated upon its operations.
Existing System:
The normal scenario in today’s world is that the user or the programmer who is using the query for working with the database often faces the problems of slow execution of the query. One reason for this problem could be that many users are trying to access the SQL Server at the same time. But user can reduce the time taken by the SQL Server for the execution of the query by optimizing the query.
Now the problem in optimizing is that user or programmer is not well versed with SQL Server Optimizer and the way in which it executes its query. So what the user or the programmer does is that it submits it query to the DBA of the company or of an organization. The DBA has to go through the query and change the query or the table in such a way that the query performs in an optimum way. Even DBA were not able to tune to the query of the user very efficiently and even if it does the tuning efficiently it would take lots of time and resources of the DBA’s. This wouldn’t be feasible at the time when queries are urgently needed by the user or the programmer.
So one way was to get a tool in which the query would get optimized and that also in less time and also without the help of the DBA. Even one more problem that the DBA was faced was that he has to rely on his own skills and experience to optimize the query as there are no set rules for doing the optimization. This would also cause a problem as there in no reference against which the DBA can be assured that the query is been optimized properly.

After understanding the existing system and understanding the need for developing a new system different people involved in the related activities have been consulted. The data needed for the study has been collected from company records.
The computerization of this system would avoid the wrong interpretation and bad calculation of data .The system help the user to see any documents, source code, tasks, activities, team information with details at the click of a button. The record data is maintained and backed up such a way that data is not loss. The speed of the system could also increased.
