Abstract:
Real-Time systems are an important class of computer systems which need to guarantee timely execution. Process control systems, weather information systems and air traffic control are some examples of real-time systems. Although well studied for uniprocessor systems, real time scheduling algorithms for multiprocessor systems is still a nascent topic. In this seminar I will introduce the topic of multiprocessor real time scheduling with directions for research work.
