There is strong need of developing web applications that are very easy in usage and which are accessible through different hard wares and soft wares.
Web applications are programs which can be executed either on web server for server side scripting or on web browser as for client side scripting. With information web application has even made online money transaction possible on internet, popularly known as e-commerce. HTML language can only provide static web applications while by using client and server side scripting we can create dynamic applications also.
Client side scripting basically helps in generating dynamic results which are independent of the web server. Thus help in reducing the network traffic.
For Example: we can check whether user has entered the password, before we proceed his request which could have been blank. Thus in this way we can check the entries at the client side only, reducing load on the server. For this we can use client side scripting which can be easily done using Asp. Net. We can understand it by the concept of validation controls. Scripting languages such as JAVA script can be used for this purpose.
ABOUT TOURISM AGENCY
Travel agency is a retail business, that sells travel related products and services, particularly package tours, to customers, on behalf of suppliers, such as airlines, car rentals, cruise lines, hotels, railways, sightseeing tours and tour operators. In addition to dealing with ordinary tourists, most travel agencies have a separate department devoted to making travel arrangements for business travelers and some travel agencies specialize in commercial and business travel only. Origins
The British company, Cox & Kings, is sometimes said to be the oldest travel agency in the world, but this rests upon the services that the original bank, established in 1758, supplied to its wealthy clients. The modern travel agency first appeared in the second half of the 19th century. Thomas Cook, in addition to developing the package tour, established a chain of agencies in the last quarter of the 19th century, in association with the Midland Railway. They not only sold their own tours to the public, but in addition, represented other tour companies. Other British pioneer travel agencies were Dean and Dawson, the Polytechnic Touring Association and the Co-operative Wholesale Society.
Travel agencies became more commonplace with the development of commercial aviation, starting in the 1920s. Originally, travel agencies largely catered to middle and upper class customers, but the post-war boom in mass-market package holidays resulted in travel agencies on the main streets of most British towns, catering to a working class clientele, looking for a convenient way to book overseas beach holidays
Microsoft .NET Framework
Microsoft .NET Framework is a software technology that is available with several Microsoft Windows operating systems. It includes a large library of pre-coded solutions to common programming problems and a virtual machine that manages the execution of programs written specifically for the framework. The .NET Framework is a key Microsoft offering and is intended to be used by most new applications created for the Windows platform.
Programs written for the .NET Framework execute in a software environment that manages the program's runtime requirements. Also part of the .NET Framework, this runtime environment is known as the Common Language Runtime (CLR). The CLR provides the appearance of an application virtual machine so that programmers need not consider the capabilities of the specific CPU that will execute the program. The CLR also provides other important services such as security, memory management, and exception handling. The class library and the CLR together compose the .NET Framework.
