INTRODUCTION
This Project consists basically of GRID SOLVING ROBOT and PICK AND PLACE ROBOT.
Grid solving Robot is based on 8 bit Microcontroller AT89S53.
The basic principle used for grid following is detecting the intersection and taking a turn accordingly.
The PICK AND PLACE ROBOT is a microcontroller based mechatronic system that detects the object, picks that object from source location and places at desired location.
SOFTWARES USED
Micro C using logics of C for programming the application software to the microcontroller.
Express SCH software is used for designing the schematic diagram and Express PCB is used for PCB designing for this project.
IR SENSOR
The basic idea is to send infra red light through IR-LEDs, which is then reflected by any object in front of the sensor.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
The basic principle used for grid following is detecting the intersection and taking a turn accordingly.
When a junction is detected we take a single wheel turn, thus aligning the robot on to the right angled path.
A pick and place robot detects the object, picks that object from source location and places at desired location.
For detection of object, infrared sensors are used.
As soon as robot senses presence of object, it moves towards object, picks it with end effectors, and moves along way and finally places it in the destination.
