REPORT ON INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
INTRODUCTION
Our team has decided to work on a very interesting topic “INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” that keeps all the records of the Inventory in the organization. The system will be very much prevalent in coming time to help the inventory managers in their operations in connection with various transaction.
Our objective here is to automate all above activities relating to inventory with the help of “USER FRIENDLY COMPUTER SOFTWARE” to reduce paper work giving rise to voluminous records and also to illuminate difficulties which were being faced by the organization while using manual system.
In the preparation of this project , we got full support from our college, our project guide and also from our friends for providing us necessary information which is being required during course of development of software.
It is very encouraging, motivating and of all purpose an entirely new experience for us to do better in future.
BACK END(MS ACCESS)
Personal computer provides an excellent tool for scoring information in database can be so useful and crucial for any organizations.
In Ms-Access, we can not only create tables, queries, forms, and reports and retrieve information but also sort, manipulate and analyze that information’s to spot trends or patterns in data.
We can use MS-Access in two ways:-
1. The first way is to design and creating table, queries, forms and reports.
2. The second way is to editing and manipulating of data.
CONCLUSION
This package is suitable for keeping Records of the inventory, employee details such as employee name, employee code, destination and mobile. This package can also contain data report. We can perform these through the menu and submenu provided with the package. The programming done in Visual Basic 6.0 packages is systematic and easily comprehensive.
The application developed overcomes the problems of Manual System in case of accuracy, speed, and efficiency. The system is useful to the person who has less knowledge of computer because the system provides menu driven easy user interface. So the proposed system would have valuable time and resources of the system by providing accurate information and report of management.
