The JAVA framework
The JAVA Framework provides a well-designed set of interfaces and classes for storing and manipulating groups of data as a single unit, a collection. The framework provides a convenient interface to many of the abstract data types familiar from computer science data structure curriculum: maps, sets, lists, trees, arrays, hash tables and other collections. Because of their object-oriented design, the Java classes in the Collections Framework encapsulate both the data structures and the algorithms associated with these abstractions. The framework provides a standard programming interface to many of the most common abstractions, without burdening the programmer with too many procedures and interfaces.
JAVA
Introduction:
Java is a programming language originally developed by James Gosling at Sun Microsystems (which is now a subsidiary of Oracle Corporation) and released in 1995 as a core component of Sun Microsystems' Java platform. The language derives much of its syntax from Cand C++ but has a simpler object model and fewer low-level facilities. Java applications are typically compiled to bytecode (class file) that can run on any Java Virtual Machine (JVM) regardless of computer architecture. Java is a general-purpose, concurrent, class-based, object-oriented language that is specifically designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible. It is intended to let application developers "write once, run anywhere." Java is currently one of the most popular programming languages in use, particularly for client-server web applications. A high-level programming language developed by Sun Microsystems. Java was originally called OAK, and was designed for handheld devices and set-top boxes. Oak was unsuccessful so in 1995 Sun changed the name to Java and modified the language to take advantage of the burgeoning World Wide Web.
Introduction to Assigned Job
The job assigned to me by the Institute was to design a Software known as “Math Studio” whose main purpose was to design such a software in which the mathematical functions could be performed. This software is designed keeping in mind the basic functions of a calculator as well as some of the advanced features of mathematics. So ,in simple words we can say that performs the functions of basic calculator as well as a valuable mathematical tool.
