OBJECTIVE TO BE FULLFILLED:-
*To develop user –friendly system.
*To develop this is compatible with system in the Railway Reservation.
*To develop an easily maintable system.
*To develop system that maintains all the information about Reservation Reports.
*Develop a system, which meets to organization needs.
*Generate accurate and timely report.
*Faster information retrival.
*Cnsistant and better data storage facility.
The project converses only the purchasing & selling system of the product. While developing the S/W the prior concentration is given to the procedure of allotting products to the customer & calculating bill according to no. Of products the customer purchased in the agency. Hence the scope of the project mainly deals with the computerized of purchasing & selling system of the product.
Future Scope: -
As the computerized system only consider the purchasing system & billing of customer, but the proposed system can be extended further. It can consider the financial accounting system of the organization for computerization. Likewise the S/W can also be developing to computerize the inventory control system as well as payroll system of agency as we all know computerized speed up the work & provides more accurate results, so if S/W is developed covering all the above mentioned system of agency. Then it is obvious that it will increase the profitability of organization.
PROPOSE SYSTEM
1) Objectives of Proposed system: -
The main objective of proposed system is to computerize the whole system so as to speed up the work. By studying the existing system the problem occurring due to manual system is easily known.
Manual system requires more manpower as well as more time to do a single job. The aim to propose a computerized system is to save human power as well as precious time.
Moreover with the help of proposed computerized system task will be done more accurately. This will increase the profitability of organization. Also to please & convince the customer a proper management should be there in the agency. The management should do the job of purchasing, sailing & billing of a customer more speedily & accurately. This objective can be achieved by computerized proposed system.
2) User Requirements: -
The main intention of proposed computerized system is to obtain maximum possible accuracy without wasting much on time. For better results proper designing output should be need. According to the users requirement following different outputs are estimated.
i) Sale Detail Report: -
It will give the user all the details of sell. It includes product name, customer name, product rate & quantity. By seeing the sell status the user can easily find out the amount, balance & issued quantity to the customer.
ii) Customer Detail Report: -
It includes the detail of every customer. It can be treated as customer detail. It includes customer no, customer name, address, city, phone number, advance paid, balance etc.
This field gives information about customer name, address, city, phone number etc. Thus it will help user if some important information regarding the particular customer such as his last visit to agency.
iii) Bill Reports: -
This report will show the bill receipt having bill no, bill date, customer no, customer status from customer entry register & total amount after deducing advance from amount, discount, extra etc. This can be either date wise, monthly or simple billing report.
FACT FINDING TECHNIQUES USED
Various fact finding techniques were used to collect detailed information about each and every aspect of the organization depending upon the nature of the information and the designation of the respective person the technique has been changed following techniques were used extensively.
Document Study:-
Various document such as challis etc have been studied to analyzed recording of information in different registers. Document study helped in determines input mad outputs to the System.
E.g.:- various item bills are inputs to the system witch are taken into consideration while preparing final bill
Observation:-
This technique helps in understanding the actual process of enquiry from the customer sale of items etc
Interview: -
Many people from different section have been interviewed and respective information has been collected from them
Visited:-
The super market has been visited many times which helped in getting precious information input outputs and also helped in developing good human relation with its staff & management Fact finding techniques focus on various infrastructural and procedural details of the existing system it helped in identifying various input outputs the entered fact finding process also evaluates clients as human being which helped in designing the system and providing a user interface
