Abstracts: The subject of vehicle dynamics is concerned with the study of kinematics and kinetics of conveyance (or transportation) systems and/or sub-system(s).Conveyance or transportation systems broadly include ships, airplanes, railroad trains, off-highway vehicles, and highway vehicles (cars/trucks/busses etc.) Now a day’s one of the important transportation system is trains/railways. The engine of the train is connected to the boggy with the help of a coupling. Generally the train’s accident occurs due to faults in tracks speed of train or non- humanistic behavior, brake binding and wheels. The survey shows that when the accident occurs, the engine is first fall down and then due to the conventional coupling between engines and boggy and between other bogies also fall down form the railway tracks; the engine will pull all the bogies with it so there is tremendous disaster occurs sometimes. Based on a preliminary review of literature the conventional coupling will be redesign in such a manner that when the engine of train tilted in some angle it will disconnect the connection of coupling between engine and bogies and between other two bogies. Starting with the simplest modified model of the conventional coupling will be modeled and analyzed with the help of cad software’s.
