SERIES INVERTER
AIM:
To design and simulate a Single Phase Series Inverter with R and RL load for given values of input parameters.
THEORY:
A device that converters dc power to ac power at desired output voltages and frequency is called an inverter. An inverter in which the commutating components L & C are connected in series with the load is known as series inverter. The series inverter constitutes a series R L& C resonant circuit. Series inverters are commonly used in fixed output applications such as induction heating, ultrasonic generators sonar transmitters, florescent tubes etc. the basic circuit of series inverter is shown in figure:
In the below circuit, commutating components L and C are connected in series with the load and class A commutation is used in series inverter. The values of Land C are selected in such a way that in order to satisfy the relation.
RESULT:
Thus the Single Phase Series Inverter with R & RL load was designed and simulated.
