Abstracts: The project is “smart speed control of DC motor using PID Algorithm”. model is based on a typical close loop system.This project is used for counting RPM and maintain RPM of the DC motor. DC motor starts rotating at the given speed. The speed is varied with keypad by changing the duty cycle. The speed is then measured by proximity sensor and gives revolution per minute on the LCD screen. Now when the load is applied to the fan connected with the motor, its RPM decrease and thus the reading on the screen. At this instance PID control takes action and it controls the RPM by increasing the duty cycle to restore the reading. So after short term tumbling it get to the desired RPM value. Once the load is removed, again the PID controller will decrease the duty cycle and will decrease the RPM. Thus this system is typical feedback system and removes disturbances for the constant functioning of a motor. It will be a matter of immense pleasure for use if you can get all the necessary phases of this application through this report and also if this application help out in your needs, any error, omission and commission are heartily regretted.
