Introduction
Purpose:
The main objective of smart traffic Management system is to including traffic accidents and traffic congestion or jams have been very serious for us. Urban traffic flow simulation has been important for making new control strategies that can reduce traffic jams. In this paper, we propose a method that can control traffic signals 4-point road crossings stalls traffic. Sometime the signal switching are
illogical & inefficient. The lane that has more traffic gets less ‘green’signal while the ones with less cars are kept open for more time. An efficient
Scope:
There are four basic users: City Traffic management authority, Traffic Police, Car owners
Pedestrians
City traffic management system:
• reduce times across the network
• influence travel patterns
• reduce car park search times within town centres.
Traffic police:
To control traffic in traffic signal
Car owners:
All new cars come with an owner's manual from the manufacturer. Most owners leave them in the glove compartment for easy reference. This can make their frequent absence in rental cars frustrating because it violates the driver's user expectations
Pedestrians:
It is a person traveling on foot, whether walking or running. In some communities, those traveling using tiny wheels such as roller skates, skateboards, and scooters, as well as wheelchair users[1] are also included as pedestrians. In modern times, the term mostly refers to someone walking on a road or footpath.
USER INTERFACE
• JSP/Servlets: The Presentation Layer of the application will be developed in JSP technology. It can contain HTML, java code and java beans components. It provides a powerful and dynamic page assembly mechanism that benefits the application from many advantages of the Java.
Servlets are Server side programs that allow application logic to be embedded in HTTP request response process.
• AJAX: The application will be provided by a very interactive front end by using AJAX technology.
• XML/Voice XML / WebSphere Voice Server: XML influences how we view , process , transport and manage data .
• Java Beans: JavaBeans™ architecture is based on a component model which enables developers to create software units called components. Components are self-contained, reusable software units that can be visually assembled into composite components, applets, applications, and servlets using visual application builder tools.
Product Function:
• Create login And Authorize the users :It enables the access to the account that a user have in a library if entered valid user id and password.
• Purchase Order: The admin has the right to order any book that is being suggested by the faculty members. He can also order the books by seeing the catalogue that is being mailed to him by the publishers and the book sellers.
• Manage Users: The admin will have all access to the accounts. He can add, modify and delete the user as per need. He can view the reports based on the users.
• OPAC: OPAC is online public access catalogue in which he can see the list of books, journals etc that is being available in the library. He can also search the books language wise, subject wise, author wise, publisher’s wise etc.
• Reservation: After seeing the OPAC the user can either reserve the book or he can cancel the reservation he has made already.
• Transaction Details: If the user wishes to see all the transaction details made by him then he can enter his member no. and see the details.
