Abstracts: INTRODUCTION:- Wind, rain, floods, rivers, glaciers and earthquakes all erode (wear away) the land. Soil erosion occurs when soil moves (for example sliding down a slope) to a different place. This may be only a short distance, or carried many kilometers away by rivers. Water conservation is the practice of saving water and reducing wastefulness. Only 3 percent of the water on Earth is fresh, so water conservation is an important practice to sustain our survival over the long term. METHODOLOGY:- This project starts with initially carrying out by field survey applying various theoretical and practical aspects like stepped wise check walls, afforestation, plantation, contour trench, check dams, protection walls, earthen bund, stone bund, recharging of water by lakes. That all methods by using own new innovative ideas to control the soil erosion and water conservation. CASE STUDY:- A case study is connect with hilly areas on which watershed department is already working since one and half years . CONCLUSION:- Based on the analysis and determining various methods we can conserve water and avoid soil erosion safely and economically and protect the villages by hazardous rainfall.
