ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
QUALIFICATION
Masters Degree or Bachelors Degree with 16 years of education with at least 60% marks where percentage system applies or 2.5 out of 4.0 or 3.5 out of 5.0 where CGPA system is applicable from HEC recognized Pakistani or foreign educational institutions in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems & Technology, Mathematics, Human Resources and Agriculture. In case the degree is obtained from a foreign university, Equivalence Certificate from HEC is to be submitted at the time of submission of application. Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible to apply.
Age
Maximum 26 years as on last date of submission of applications to SBP. Age limit shall be relaxed by 03 years for candidates from FATA, Northern Areas / Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan and Azad Kashmir.
For employees of SBP and its subsidiaries, maximum age limit shall be relaxed by 05 years provided that they fulfill other eligibility requirements.
Testing Procedure
Interested Pakistani/AJK nationals meeting above eligibility criteria are required to register themselves with SBP/IBP for appearing in the written test as per following procedure:
• Application Form and Deposit Slip is available at SBP/IBP websites i.e., www.sbp.oro.pk or www.ibp.org.pk.
• Click on "Online Application Form", Read the instructions carefully and register yourself (only eligible candidates) by clicking on "Register" and fill the Online Application Form.
• Take the print out of Form along with Deposit Slip.
• Deposit test fee of Rs.750/- for IBP testing service through Deposit Slip at any online branch of UBL/HBL.
• Send Application Form along with attested copies of educational/professional documents, Equivalence Certificate from HEC, original IBP copy of Deposit Slip, domicile, CNIC and 03 passports size photographs to Senior Joint Director, Human Resources Department, State Bank of Pakistan L I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi not later than February 08, 2016.
• SBP/IBP will not be responsible for late receipt of application through post.
• Candidates shortlisted by SBP based on eligibility criteria shall be sent admit cards by IBP at their postal addresses to appear in the written test to be held at designated test centers.
• SBP/IBP will upload the test results at their respective websites. The test results will also be sent to candidates at their postal address.
Selection procedure
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of written test and meeting other eligibility criteria will be invited for further selection process. SBP reserves the right to suitably adjust minimum qualifying marks to enhance the representation of candidates belonging to under developed areas and to observe provincial/regional quota as prescribed by the Government.
PRE-INDUCTION TRAINING
After completion of all pre-induction formalities including medical and psychological examinations, the selected candidates shall be required to undergo "Applied Focused Theoretical Training" (residential) at National Institute of Banking and Finance, Islamabad.
