Biodiesel derived from oil crop cannot really satisfy even a small fraction of the existing demand for the Transportation fuel.
With only Sunlight, Carbondioxide(CO2) and WATER Sapphire Energy is turning Algae into 91-octane Gasoline called "Green Crude".

many peoples are working on the trapping of co2 and this traped co2 can be use in the process to convert algae into biofuel.
The conversion of algal oil into biodiesel is most commonlt done by transesterification of algae oil.

Enviournmental & Sustainable: sapphire energy process requires only two main inputs i.e. sunlight and co2 which are easily available in the environment.
Algae consume the emitted co2 and utilized it to produce transportation fuel and this way algae reuse the emitted co2 to produce fuel or oil.

It is found that algae can produce over 20,000 liters of fuel per hectare each year producing biofule from algae on of such large commercial scale is major challenge for us
Algae can consume approximately 56 metric tone of co2 per day and produce on an average 100 barrels of green crude per day.
