Satellite Missions
Satellite provides humans with the ability to send electronic and mechanical equipments beyond the confines of earths atmosphere.
These satellite helps us to study of distant celestial objects.
These missions can broadly be divided into four main categories.
1) Scintific Missions 2) Millitary & national Security mission 3) civil missions 4) commercial Missions
Scientific Mission
These missions are initiated with the intent to discover.
These missions are generally government funded missions assembled and operated in collaboration with universities, industries and national space administrations.
the primary role of these mission is to provide answers to the Questions.
Exe: the Lunar Prospector primary function was to determine presence of ice on moon.
CIVIL MISSIOSNS
Supporting well bCivil satellite have primary function of well being of humans either directly or indirectly.
These satellites provides information that is critical for helping society.
Weather satellites falls under this category.
