Scheduling Algorithms and their Applications for Cloud Networked Robotics: A Study
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to analyze the scheduling algorithms for cloud robotics networks where cloud networked robotics takes inspiration from cloud computing and networked robotics. The rapid advancement in wireless communication and cloud computing has achieved great success in various applications, although it can be enhanced by incorporating cloud robotics as it overcomes the limitations of networked robotics. An introduction of cloud computing, networked robotics and cloud robotics is given in section I. Section II explores the objective of this study i.e. the problems arising in cloud networked robotics while accessing the data from the cloud. A detailed overview of the analysis of queuing and scheduling algorithms, their applications, advantages and limitations is given in Section III. Section IV consists of the conclusion and future work.
