Abstracts: To setup Linux based web-hosting server, first of all we have to decide which Linux OS is best for web-hosting server so that we have to do analysis with some of the Linux OS and find best compatible Linux OS for web- hosting server. After the analysis of the OS, we have to make RAID partition of hard-disk to create mirror image of that data disk ans also we have to find one GUI (Graphical User Interface) to handle all the task and servers which is installed in Linux OS.This software we will use for data backup an entire hosting or restore any p art of it, We can backup Your Entire Account, including domains, clients, databases, directory protects, and also the contents of all the resources and also upload backup to FTP server. We can also manage domain registration and maintain user account, its data and Mail list account so that we have to configure entire GUI. After the installation of software we have to configure web-server, Mail server, DNS server, Network File system server, Samba server, FTP server and Database server and also we have to configure it for the web-hosting server then after we have to secure the entire server by other host accessing the data in that server. So that server security is required and also firewall configuration is also required to control access privileges and restrict network resources to users who are unauthorized.
