Our project comprises of pH control & conductivity monitoring pH is one of the essential element of water which is to be controlled. In our project PLC does the controlling process pH and conductivity sensors sense pH and conductivity of sewage water. Transmitter converts respective signal from sensors into 4-20 MA current which is required by PLC. PLC takes the signal executes the given program and accordingly relays & valves get operated thus opening acidic or basic solution, tank valves. Acidic tank valve is opened when pH is more than 7 & basic tank valve is opened when pH is less than 7. Thus controlling pH. In entire process conductivity is only monitored. Our project is fully automatic, it helps to control water pollution. It is applicable at all places where water is to be treated before leaving into natural water bodies & all chem. Processes where pH control is essential for max. yield. By incorporating data logger in system data can be stored for further use.
