A versatile model for slurry olefin polymerisation has been formulated considering multiple active sites and gas- liquid mass transfer resistance for multistage CSTR. The models have successfully highlited importance of gas-liquid mass transfer in slurry olefin polymerisation in predicting polymer properties. It seem important to consider gas-liquid mass transfer in all scale reactors in steady state and dynamic conditions.
