Abstracts: The Smart Learning Web is designed to meet the requirements of the students. The idea is to set up a intranet based cost effective student base management, which incorporates various activities e.g. solving student doubts by faculties via video conferencing, group discussions, complete management of student data, batch details, faculty information, subject, material information etc. In this way this system will greatly help the student in getting proper guidance. The objective of the smart learning web is that they can get the answers of there study related doubts online. And make the students tension free when they get stuck in to some topic. Detailed Description: 1. Scope: Purpose: The main purpose of the project will be to maintain a database of student and staff who are in involved in doubt solving activity. It will also help in better understanding the solution of the query by student. Objectives: • To save the precious time of student with faster doubts solving in case of emergency. • Provide them with the solutions of their doubt just sitting at their home. • To design an cost effective Education Forum. • To use the latest IT tools and Internet/Intranet technology to make a proper Evaluation System. • To keep the students updated with all information that will be help full for their study purpose. • Strong RDBMS, capable of handling sensitive data with utmost discretion and security. Support multi-location and distributed environment. • Utilization of the latest Client “Server architecture. • Enhanced query timings. Functionalities: • The system is strictly educational. • The system can record all the details of the student and staff. • The system can display the search results if the user searches for a particular record. • The system can delete a particular record of a student or a staff member,if he/she has been left the forum. • The system can record the feedback of the student. • Facility of group discussions with staff as well as with other students. • The system would b such that if the staff is unavailable then student can consult other students registered within to gain solution. • The system supports video conferencing i.e. problem solving is done via video conferencing, discussions etc.
