Abstracts: Pneumatic is a section of technology that deals with the study and application of pressurized air to produce mechanical motion. Here we are using it for the upward or downward movement of pneumatic cylinder for weight lifting. Pneumatic cylinder is connected with air compressor which provides continuous air supply for working of cylinder. For any application in the industries there are many parameters to be handled. In this project we are concentrating on LOAD LIFTING. Controlling a heavy load lift system is major concern in the industries with desired accuracy, precision and safety. Nowadays in industries this kind of system is existence but it is rigid. Here is the lift control system which is more flexible and possibility of calibration. User can set the required height. Using this system we can get better accuracy and flexibility. For the load lifting capacity the pneumatic system has been design, which is controlled through the PLC-SCADA. Hence this project is designed to overcome the calibration problem and to get better flexibility and safety through interlocking. PLC base pneumatic control system calculates the load and control lift from PC and giving security features like height control and power failure management system. Applications for this are Industries with heavy load to handle, complicated areas where we can’t reach by ordinary lift or crane.
