Software Requirements Specification Document For Advanced Telecommunication Services
Software Requirements Specification Document.doc (Size: 90.5 KB / Downloads: 11)
Introduction
The following subsections of the Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) document provide an overview of the entire SRS.
Purpose
The Software Requirements Specification (SRS) will provide a detailed description of the requirements for the “Advanced Telecommunication Services” . This SRS will allow for a complete understanding of what is to be expected of the telecommunication services project to be constructed. The clear understanding of the advanced telecommunication services project and its’ functionality will allow for the correct application to be developed for the end user and will be used for the development of the future stages of the project. This SRS will provide the foundation for the project. From this SRS, the advanced telecommunication services project can be designed, constructed, and finally tested.
Definitions, Acronyms, and Abbreviations
i. SRS – Software Requirements Specification
ii. Subjective satisfaction – The overall satisfaction of the system
iii. Admin-The person who control the system
iv. customer – The people who will be actually using the system
The Overall Description
Describes the general factors that affect the product and its requirements. This section does not state specific requirements. Instead it provides a background for those requirements, which are defined in section 3, and makes them easier to understand
Hardware Interfaces
The Proposed system is a browser which is completely related to internet browsing. The web enabled information management system designed to automate the entire operations of a modern technology. Mobile Service Provider and Operational Portal allow multi-divisional, multi-Software Interfaces
Software Interfaces
All databases for the “Advanced Telecommunication Services” will be configured using SQL 2005. These databases includes admin login and customer login details. Product and service details can be modified by the admin. The admin database will include the call management and service detail . The customers information database will contain all the information of the customer
Specific Requirements
This section contains all the software requirements at a level of detail, that when combined with the system context diagram, use cases, and use case descriptions, is sufficient to enable designers to design a system to satisfy those requirements, and testers to test that the system satisfies those requirements
Functional Requirements
These are the statements of services the system should provide, how the system should react to a particular inputs and how the system should behave in a particular situation. In some cases, the functional requirements may also explicitly state what the system should not do. However, the functional requirements describe the system function in detail, its inputs and outputs, exception and so on. And also it includes how the product should respond to anticipated error conditions or invalid inputs. Requirements should be concise, complete, unambiguous, verifiable, and necessary.
Non Functional Requirements
Functional requirements define the needs in terms of performance, logical database requirements, design constraints, standards compliance, reliability, availability, security, maintainability, and portability
Performance Requirements
Performance requirements define acceptable response times for system functionality. The load time for user interface screens shall take no longer than two seconds. The log in information shall be verified within five seconds. Queries shall return results within five seconds
Design Constraints
The Advanced Telecommunication Services shall be a web application running ion internet. The system shall be developed using Java, jsp, javascript and an sql server 2005 database
