Asynchronous motors are the most used electric motors because of their reliability, low cost, robustness and robustness. However, asynchronous motors do not inherently have variable speed capability. Due to this reason, the dc motors were applied in most of the electrical drives. But recent developments in asynchronous motor speed control methods have led to its use on a large scale in almost all electric drives. In this work, several speed control methods of induction motors (asynchronous) such as variable rotor resistance, variable stator voltage, constant Volts / hertz control, frequency variation, pole change, etc. were performed. and the MATLAB software was used to develop the codes for the analysis of these methods.
