Abstract
These data are from a previous study involving the analysis of performance
degradation data from accelerated tests. The response variable is dielectric
breakdown strength in kilo-volts, and the predictor variables are time in weeks and
temperature in degrees Celcius. The study can be viewed as an 8 by 4 factorial
experiment. The data will be used to generate an multiple linear regression analysis
for the purposes of this class project.
Introduction
Using the techniques learned in this course and Minitab, the above mentioned data
will be used to determining a number of results, for which conclusions will be drawn
at the end of this report. We shall estimate the regression coefficients. Write the
multiple linear regression model. Compute the residuals, SSE and estimate the
variance, and the coefficient of determination, R2, and adjusted coefficient of
multiple determination, R2
adjusted. .Construct the ANOVA table and test for
significance of regression. Find the standard error of the individual coefficients.
